I started in the electric motor industry fresh out of UNH in 1978 at National Electric Coil in Pittsburgh, PA. It was a great experience and I have to say I fell in love with motors right then and there. My wife and I soon wanted to return to the seacoast, and I found a new home at Electric Motor Servicenter in Dover, NH. At EMS I learned all of the electric motor skills – single phase, three phase, repairs, rewinding, DC repairs, pump repair, just about any aspect of the motor repair world that you can think of and that experience was the foundation of my future. Except for a couple of years that I spent outside the business (still buying motors and power transmission materials) I have spent my entire working life in the electric motor industry. At EMS I also spent time in outside sales and eventually ended up as the Shop Manager and remained the Shop Manager for many years until I purchased Wright Electric in 2004. In 2004 I made a lifelong dream of owing my own business come true and purchased Wright Electric in Hooksett. Wright Electric became Chase Electric Motors and we have been here since, providing motor repairs and replacements for Southern NH Industry and local patrons.
